Dachser expands footprint in Hong Kong office to meet demand for future growth

Aug 08, 2016: Dachser is expanding its presence in Hong Kong, moving to a new office which will accommodate its air, ocean and logistics management under one roof.

The new office will allow Hong Kong teams to optimise processes and communications across operations, administration, sales and finance.

The investment also reflects the importance of the city’s location for both the logistics business and the regional head Office Asia Pacific which will remain in the North Point office.

“Our investment in the new office in Tsuen Wan reflects our commitment to growing our business in Hong Kong, which is an important center for logistics in Asia and an attractive location in terms of infrastructure and workforce availability,” said Nils Holder, managing director Air & Sea Logistics Hong Kong.

The new office can accommodate Dachser’s future expansion plans with additional space available for new personnel.

Air freight shipments will continue to be handled via Dachser’s transit warehouse in Tsuen Wan and contract logistics solutions will continue at its facility in Tsing Yi.
