Major South African contract awarded to Keller

Nov 24, 2016: Keller, geotechnical contractor, has been awarded a major ground improvement contract in Durban, South Africa. The total contract is valued at over £40m.

The company will design and construct the complete ground improvement solution for over 350,000 square metres of warehouses and ancillary offices as part of the Clairwood Logistics Park Development, situated at the old Clairwood racecourse in Durban. The work will be executed over the next three years.

Alain Michaelis, chief executive, commented, “I am delighted to announce Keller’s success in winning this important project. Our continued ability to transfer established technologies to new geographies demonstrates Keller’s collaborative strength and ability to deliver large and complex projects around the world.”
