September 15, 2020: TAAG Angola Airlines has resumed domestic operations from September 14, and international schedules will begin from September 21, from its base at Luanda, spokesperson Carlos Vicente confirmed to ch-aviation.

On domestic routes, it will start flights only to five destinations, including Huambo, Catumbela, Lubango, Cabinda, and Soyo, using two new DHC-8-Q400 planes.

The airline has four more DHC-8-Q400 on order from De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, which will join its fleet of five B777-300ERs, six B737-700s, three B777-200ERs, and one B737-700QC.
