Swissport has named Maria Grigorova as its new Chief Financial Officer, with her appointment taking effect on 16 February 2026. She brings extensive experience from both publicly listed and private equity-owned companies, having held senior finance and commercial leadership roles across multiple sectors. Grigorova joins Swissport from the Adecco Group, a global talent solutions provider listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and operating in 60 countries. Since 2022, she has been Group Senior Vice President and Global Head of Finance for Adecco’s largest business unit, which records annual revenues of €18 billion. She was also part of the executive management team and led a major transformation of the finance function. Prior to this role, she served as Deputy Group CFO at the Adecco Group.

Her career spans nearly 30 years in senior finance roles at JLL, Ideal Standard, part of the Bain Capital portfolio, Newell Rubbermaid and Procter & Gamble. She succeeds Craig Cavin, who has been serving as Swissport’s interim CFO since April 2025.

During Cavin’s tenure, Swissport maintained strong financial performance and operational standards as the world’s largest aviation services operator.

Commenting on the appointment, Swissport Chief Executive Officer Warwick Brady said Grigorova is an experienced CFO with a strong track record in leading large-scale finance transformations across multinational companies. He added that Swissport’s business model has delivered strong financial results, supported by organic growth and business transformation, and that Grigorova will lead the next phase of the company’s finance strategy.

In 2024, Swissport International AG provided aviation services to around 247 million airline passengers and welcomed 5.9 million lounge guests.
