June 20, 2019: Air Madagascar has restarted flights from Antananarivo to Johannesburg earlier this week. The weekly twice service is operated by B737-800NG on Mondays and Saturdays.
Meanwhile, the airline is now serving Paris on a daily basis and operates an 8th flight to France with Marseille as the final destination.
Since Reunion-based Air Austral came on board as a shareholder, the airline has undergone a revival including the launch of a domestic subsidiary operating under the name Tsaradia.
Johannesburg flights are timed to arrive in Antananarivo for easy connectivity to such island destinations like Nosy Be, Antsiranana or Taolagnaro.
