ECS Group has named Yousra Khalihamou as the new Commercial Director of EFIS Maroc, a move that strengthens the company’s commercial strategy in one of North Africa’s most competitive cargo markets. Her appointment supports EFIS Maroc’s goal to widen its presence as Morocco continues to develop as an important cargo gateway connecting Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Yousra has built her career within ECS Group, beginning her journey with EFIS Maroc seven years ago. During this time, she developed strong operational and commercial expertise, led the launch of 10 airlines and contributed to the station’s growth.
After EFIS Maroc became part of ECS Group, she was promoted to Supervisor in January 2024, a role in which she delivered solid results. Her elevation to Commercial Director comes at an important moment for the company as it focuses on continuity, renewed commercial momentum and securing new airline contracts.
In her new position, Yousra will oversee EFIS Maroc’s commercial strategy. Her main priorities include managing organisational changes, improving commercial performance and motivating the team to achieve stronger results. Supported by ECS Group’s global network and digital tools, she aims to strengthen EFIS Maroc’s role in Morocco’s expanding cargo landscape.
Yousra says her appointment is a significant milestone and an exciting challenge. She highlights her experience in launching airlines and building market presence, and aims to deliver better results, attract new contracts and reinforce EFIS Maroc’s standing as a leading cargo gateway in the region.
ECS Group CEO Jean Ceccaldi says Yousra’s commercial skills, market understanding and ability to earn the trust of international airlines make her the right leader for this phase of growth. He adds that EFIS Maroc is entering a new stage, and with Yousra leading the commercial team, it is well placed to strengthen its position as a strategic hub for airline partners across Africa and beyond.
