RwandAir has entered into a partnership with Cargo Flash Infotech to deploy the nGen Integrated Cargo Management System as part of its cargo digital transformation.
The partnership involves the cargo division of RwandAir, the national carrier of the Republic of Rwanda, and Cargo Flash Infotech, a technology provider based in Delhi NCR. The implementation of the next-generation nGen ICMS is aimed at improving efficiency, transparency and service reliability across RwandAir’s cargo network.
Developed by Cargo Flash, the nGen ICMS is a fully cloud-based air cargo management system that integrates the entire cargo workflow, covering booking, documentation, warehousing, tracking and final delivery. The system is designed to automate cargo processes and provide a single, unified platform for cargo operations.
Cargo Flash said the system will support real-time cargo tracking and shipment visibility, end-to-end automation, and centralised data access to enable faster and more accurate decision-making. The company said the partnership reflects a shared focus on innovation, digital enablement and customer-centric cargo solutions.
Neha Kumari, Vice President – SaaS Products at Cargo Flash, said the partnership is driven by a shared vision to modernise air cargo operations. She said the implementation of the nGen system will help RwandAir improve operational visibility, strengthen service reliability and build a digital foundation to support scalable cargo operations.
Gakwaya Bosco, Director of Cargo Services at RwandAir, said the collaboration reinforces the airline’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence. He said the adoption of the nGen ICMS is a strategic step towards improving transparency, efficiency and service standards across RwandAir’s cargo operations.
Yvonne Makolo, Chief Executive Officer of RwandAir, said the partnership with Cargo Flash will support the growth of the airline’s cargo services. She said the nGen system will provide a unified platform to manage shipments with greater precision and speed, while improving visibility, data-driven decision-making and customer experience.
