January 04, 2021: Effective January 9, Air Tanzania will launch twice a week service to Geita.
Flights will initially operate every Saturday and Monday and a third weekly frequency could be added in the future.
While the outbound flight will be a nonstop flight from Dar es Salaam to Geita, the return flight will route from Geita via Mwanza to Dar es Salaam. The aircraft used will be a Q400 turboprop.
