Bolloré Transport & Logistics Kenya renews certification for storage and distribution of food products

Bolloré Transport and Logistics in Kenya has renewed its BRC Global Standard Certification for Storage and Distribution.

  • The BRC Global Standards certification is an internationally recognised distinction awarded to companies in the food storage and distribution.

March 25, 2021: Bolloré Transport & Logistics in Kenya has renewed its BRC Global Standard Certification for Storage and Distribution at its dedicated FMCG Warehouse in Nairobi. The certification scope covers storage of ambient stable food products and consumer products as well as re-packing of pre-packed food and fully assembled consumer goods.

Following an audit made by DNV GL Kenya, the Bolloré Transport & Logistics food facilities in Nairobi were awarded an AA rating, which attests to the highest level of quality. 

The audit covers critical areas such as risk assessments and mitigation, hazard analysis and a critical control points study to assure safe product handling within the warehouse.  Other aspects of the audit covered implementation of the quality management system, site standards, operating practices as well as the management’s commitment to maintaining standards.

The BRC Global Standards certification is an internationally recognised distinction awarded to companies in the food storage and distribution industries that meet the globally benchmarked standards of best practices for quality, hygiene, and product safety. 

The Global Standard for Storage & Distribution is designed to ensure that the quality and safety of products are maintained during their storage and distribution, so as to uphold customer confidence.
