Blu EV & VOO formalise partnership to advance green mobility in Egypt

Blu EV and VOO have formalised a strategic partnership aimed at expanding electric mobility solutions and supporting commercial operators across Egypt. The companies announced the agreement at a signing led by VOO’s chief executive officer and co-founder Omar Abouzeid and chief operating officer and co-founder Karim Abouzeid.
BluEV said the collaboration supports its plan to scale a battery swapping network that currently includes more than 150 stations across Egypt. The company expects nationwide coverage by the end of 2026. It said the partnership will help businesses improve productivity, reduce running costs, and operate in a more sustainable manner.
VOO described the agreement as part of its push to enhance its service model and adopt new technologies. It said the partnership will strengthen its focus on customer experience and support growth across the country. Blu EV said the agreement marks the start of a new phase in its expansion and will support efforts to promote cleaner transport solutions.
