Gulf Air to restart Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh flights

Gulf Air is resuming service to Alexandria and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt.

In line with Gulf Air’s strategy, Mykonos and Santorini have been added as boutique summer destinations from June.
  • Both seasonal destinations will be served by its new A321neoLR with 2 weekly flights.

June 07, 2021: Gulf Air is resuming service to Alexandria and Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. Both seasonal destinations will be served by its new A321neoLR with 2 weekly flights each starting from June 30 till September 25, 2021. 

Waleed Abdulhameed AlAlawi, acting CEO at Gulf Air, said, “We are proudly watching our network grow further with the addition of new destinations and welcoming back routes to cater to the summer traffic. Our passengers have been through this journey with us as we navigated 2020 as one of the few airlines flying at the peak of the pandemic.”

The airline currently flies to and from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina, Muscat, Cairo, Amman, Casablanca, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Athens, Mykonos, Istanbul, Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Dhaka, Colombo, the Maldives and several destinations in India and Pakistan. In line with the airline’s strategy, Mykonos and Santorini have been added as boutique summer destinations from June until end of September as well as resuming flights to Larnaca starting from June 15 and Malaga in Spain starting from June 25.
