KAA enables holding of 44 Dorper Rams from South Africa at JKIA airport

Kenya Airports Authority facilitated the holding of 44 Dorper Rams that arrived from South Africa today via Singapore Airlines.

Kenya Airports Authority recently refurbished the facility to hold more animals and enhance transhipment of live animals via JKIA.

August 04, 2020: Kenya Airports Authority facilitated the holding of 44 Dorper Rams that arrived from South Africa today via Singapore Airlines. The precious cargo is held at the animal holding facility at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), Nairobi. The authority revealed on its LinkedIn page. 

The authority has recently refurbished the facility to hold more animals and enhance transhipment of live animals via JKIA. “We are targeting to be a Centre of Excellence for Individual Validators (CEIV) in Live Animals – an IATA best practice accreditation,” the post said.
