Kenya Airways, Alitalia ink codeshare agreement

Kenya Airways and Alitalia, the flag carrier of Italy, have signed a codeshare agreement to offer enhanced connections to Europe through Rome.

The flights will be operated four times a week to Geneva; twice a week will be flying via Rome, Italy.

Mar 15, 2019: Kenya Airways and Alitalia, the flag carrier of Italy, have signed a codeshare agreement to offer enhanced connections to Europe through Rome, to 16 domestic Italian destinations and 11 international destinations. 

Starting June 12, 2019, Kenya Airways will introduce flights to and from Geneva, Switzerland. These flights will be operated four times a week; twice a week will be flying via Rome, Italy.

In October last year, Kenya Airways first ever non-stop flight from Nairobi to New York City marked a major milestone for the airline. It became the first airline in East Africa to offer a non-stop direct flight from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to John F. Kennedy International Airport in the United States.
