June 25, 2019: RwandAir has introduced thrice-weekly flights to Tel Aviv, Israel from Kigali International Airport.

Besides providing regular travel opportunities for passengers travelling to Israel on business, the service has given pilgrims from East Africa to the Holy Land – another choice how to get there.

The cordial relationship between Israel and Rwanda has resulted in the airline being granted landing rights in Tel Aviv under a new bilateral air services agreement. RwandAir will be using a B737-800NG on the route, configured with a two-class cabin layout of business and economy.

RwandAir continues to expand their route network with additional African destinations later this year, besides the keenly awaited flights from Kigali to New York, for which the required operating permits, security approvals, and licenses are under process.
