MOL appoints Chief Country Representatives in Brazil and Mexico

Dec 2, 2016: Mitsui OSK Lines has appointed Chief Country Representatives in Mexico and Brazil, effective December 1, 2016, to push ahead toward its goal of ‘One MOL’ worldwide.

The Chief Country Representatives in Mexico and Brazil will be under the umbrella of the Chief Executive Representative, Americas, to more precisely meet customer needs by further enhancing cross-sectional and inter-regional ties within the MOL Group.

MOL positions both as key strategic countries - Mexico is the leader in both import and export trade value among Central and South America and is expected to see continued growth, particularly as a completed car production center, and Brazil has a population of over 200 million, is the leader in GDP among Central and South America and holds second place in both import and export trade value.

The Chief Country Representatives in Brazil and Mexico, as representatives of the MOL Group, will enhance the group’s business capabilities and strengthen the MOL brand to more effectively promote its collective strengths. They will develop and offer proposals for comprehensive transport services in response to specific needs in national and regional markets.
