October 31, 2019: The commercial partnership between Air Mauritius and South African Airways (SAA) for the Mauritius-Johannesburg route has been approved by the South African Competition Commission. The collaboration will significantly increase the number of seats and cargo capacity.

This partnership includes connecting flights from Johannesburg to Mauritius for the networks of the two airlines. The two airlines will also coordinate their schedules to provide better choices and greater flexibility for passengers through enhanced connections.
