CSafe launches mobile platform

CSafe has launched the CSafe Connect Mobile App, extending its cloud-based CSafe Connect platform to mobile devices and giving pharmaceutical manufacturers, freight forwarders and airlines access to real-time shipment and container data from any location.

The new app enables cold chain teams to monitor temperature-controlled shipments, access container data and manage leases directly from mobile devices. The company said the solution is designed to provide greater operational flexibility for teams working across warehouses, airports and other locations.

CSafe Connect is used by cold chain operators to manage active and passive container shipments, track shipment data and coordinate logistics. Previously, these capabilities were primarily accessible through desktop devices. With the mobile app, CSafe aims to bring the platform’s functionality directly to operational environments, allowing teams to access critical shipment information without having to return to a desktop.

The launch is expected to support greater visibility and responsiveness in pharmaceutical and life sciences logistics, where real-time monitoring and timely intervention are critical to maintaining product integrity throughout the supply chain.

The CSafe Connect Mobile App allows users to place new lease orders, access lease and shipment data, and monitor container conditions and GPS locations in real time from anywhere. It also provides on-demand access to critical shipment information, enabling faster responses to potential irregularities.

In pharmaceutical cold chain logistics, timely intervention can be crucial to maintaining the viability of temperature-sensitive therapies. The app supports freight forwarders and airline teams in monitoring shipments remotely, helping protect product integrity and reduce the risk of product loss. CSafe said the app is the first mobile solution of its kind in the pharmaceutical cold chain sector.
