August 26, 2019: The third Global Logistics Convention 2019 will take place from August 29-30 at the Kigali International Convention Centre, Rwanda. The Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA) has partnered with Rwanda Freight Forwarders Asociation (RWAFFA) to host this global event.

The theme for this year is %u2018Logistics: The Engine of Economic Growth and Development'. The convention will offer a unique opportunity for professionals in the transport and freight logistics sector from all over the world to share best practices, engage with transport and logistics policy makers, interact with a wide range of stakeholders as well as learn emerging trends, developments, opportunities and threats to the sector across the globe.

In this convention, RWAFFA has partnered with the government of Rwanda. The annual freight logistics event of the FEAFFA has been held successfully in the last two years, first in Tanzania in the year 2017 and last year in Kampala, Uganda. This year, the summit will be organised by RWAFFA and Rwanda Transporters Association, in collaboration with various Rwanda government agencies and private sector federation (PSF).

Approximately 500 to 700 delegates are expected to participate in the convention that will include freight logistics industry experts, world-class faculties in logistics and supply chain management, public sector officials, development partners, international and regional private sector industry players, shipping lines/agents, Transport companies, various logistics service providers, manufacturers and dealers in transport and logistics equipment, warehouse operators, providers of information technology solutions for logistics, companies providing related, port authorities, corridors coordination authorities, representatives of regional economic blocs among others.
