June 04, 2021: After announcing the launch of ‘Super App’ by Gokada on June 01, Nigerian startup Gokada has failed its transition as the platform has been unavailable since June 02.

Users have been facing an error message after updating their mobile apps, preventing them to conduct their business and deliver their parcels and documents through the Gokada platform, reported The Guardian.

Hundreds of Gokada-branded dispatchers have gathered in protest at the company’s Ilupeju office as their capacity to earn their livelihood have been disrupted for three days in a row.

Gokada was also supposed to launch operations in two other Nigerian cities.

The company has in the past made headlines with a service disruption year and had to suspend its operations for several weeks due to IT problems.
