Aug 27, 2016: Crane Worldwide Logistics, global logistics provider, has invested in a new warehouse adjacent to Heathrow airport.

The new facility, measuring 34,000 square feet, will offer increased warehouse space and improved capabilities such as e-commerce support, pick and pack operations, labelling, as well as catering to customers’ bespoke handling requirements.

“Having outgrown our current premises, the new facility at Heathrow enables us to build upon our existing capabilities and allows the team to provide further value added services to our portfolio,” Jason Stretton, Country manager for the UK and Ireland, said.

“Crane Worldwide Logistics specialises in providing high touch, high value solutions. With exciting technological advancements to our systems, a new sales team on board as well as continued growth in our Aberdeen and Manchester operations, we are now well positioned for additional business in the UK market.”

The company celebrated their eighth anniversary in August and now has 115 offices in 24 countries globally, including seven offices throughout the UK.
