Bollore Logistics, Boustead Projects ink pact for Malaysia’s aeronautics sector

June 20, 2019: Bollore Logistics has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Boustead Projects Limited, a leading industrial real estate solutions provider listed on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) Mainboard at the 53rd Paris Air Show in Le Bourget. As per the agreement, Boustead Projects and Bollore Logistics aim to jointly develop the aeronautics sector in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur region by capitalising on existing synergies.

Boustead Projects is jointly developing an aerospace and high-tech park within the Subang Aerotech Park located in Subang, Malaysia to be leased to corporations in the aerospace industry. Bollore Logistics will offer its services to locally-based companies and will allow its customers to consolidate their operations within a single warehouse to optimise costs and improve the supply-chain flow.

With over 60 years of experience in aeronautics and aerospace logistics, Bollore Logistics brings its customers its expertise through a range of services, from the transport of parts and assemblies of multiple origins to high-added-value operations. The company's logistics solutions are underpinned by a network of specialists based in over 100 countries. These 1,600 professionals are trained in the techniques and specific aspects of the sector and work in synergy as part of responsive operational structures available 24x7 for the management of urgent and sensitive goods flows.

Present in Malaysia for 25 years, Bollore Logistics employs today more than 200 employees in 8 branches and four warehouses over an area of 20,000 square metres. 

Till date, Boustead Projects has constructed and developed more than 3,000,000 square metres of industrial real estate regionally in Singapore, China, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Boustead Projects is a 53 percent owned subsidiary of Boustead Singapore Limited.
