CACC Cargolinx to handle inbound pharma shipments for Turkish Cargo at Cairo

Effective February 01, CACC Cargolinx will handle all incoming pharmaceutical consignments onboard Turkish Cargo flights at its IATA CEIV Pharma certified terminal

CACC Cargolinx has been the first terminal in Africa and second in the Middle East to be awarded the IATA CEIV Pharma.
  • Turkish Cargo and CACC Cargolinx achieved IATA CEIV Pharma certification in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
  • On December 10, 2020, CACC Cargolinx handled the first Covid-19 vaccine shipment.

February 02, 2021: Effective February 01, CACC Cargolinx will handle all incoming pharmaceutical consignments onboard Turkish Cargo flights at its IATA CEIV Pharma certified terminal, following the signing of Pharmaceuticals’ Handling Agreement with the airline.

CACC Cargolinx has been the first terminal in Africa and second in the Middle East to be awarded the IATA CEIV Pharma in 2017. “Through our cooperation, we truly believe that we would be bringing to the market a whole new level of logistics solutions that guarantee a seamless cool-chain for the pharmaceutical imports in Egypt,” stated CACC Cargolinx. 

On December 10, 2020, CACC Cargolinx team has successfully handled the first Covid-19 vaccine shipment to arrive at Cairo International Airport onboard Emirates SkyCargo’s aircraft. The terminal features 09,000 square metres fully temperature-controlled terminals covering both import and export.
