Jumia Ghana appoints Tolulope George-Yanwah as CEO

Tolulope George Yanwah has been appointed as chief executive officer Ghana for e-commerce company Jumia.

May 03, 2021: Tolulope George-Yanwah has been appointed as chief executive officer Ghana for e-commerce company Jumia, as reported by Biztechafrica. Previously, Tolulope was the country manager for Jumia Logistics in Nigeria. 

“I am excited at the opportunity to impact the everyday lives of Ghanaians through eCommerce,” said Yanwah upon her appointment.

She had held other management roles in Jumia such as VP of Jumia Logistics, last mile expansion manager and regional dispatch operations manager. She has also served as field distribution manager at MDS Logistics, Nigeria.
