Jul 01, 2017: Istanbul- based Turkish Cargo has introduced a new route by launching freighter between Istanbul and Kano. The new Cargo flights, to be operated to Kano by Turkish Cargo, will be launched on July 4, 2017.

Turkish Cargo currently operates services to 120 countries.

The new Kano flight will be via Dakar. And the new flight will increase the frequency of its cargo flights to Dakar from one to two. Thus Turkish Cargo will expand its operations across the region.

This will be the second destination after Lagos in Nigeria to which Turkish Cargo will operate cargo flights. Kano stands out with its processed leather products exported to primarily European countries. Appealing other important markets such as India and Sudan, all the goods, which have been manufactured in Kano but transported via Lagos before, will now be able to be transported right from the location of production.
