In this interview to Reji John, Editor, STAT Media Group, recorded at the IATA World Cargo Symposium in London last month, Or Zak, Vice President Commercial, Challenge Group, talks about the temporary reprieve from the Israel Airports Authority that reversed its earlier decision to ban four-engine aircraft from its airports. Zak explains how the group plans to gradually phase out its 747 freighters from its fleet and replaces them with more fuel efficient and sustainable aircraft types as part of its sustainability programmes. Zak says the group will have four B767 freighters joining the fleet next year and in 2025 and 2026 it will add four B777 freighters.
