AFKLMP Cargo to resume Lusaka service after three years

From September 3, 2019, AFKLMP Cargo will reintroduce Lusaka, Zambia service to its full freighter schedule.

After three years, Lusaka is returning to the carrier’s full freighter schedule.

August 19, 2019: From September 3, 2019, Air France KLM Martinair (AFKLMP) Cargo will reintroduce Lusaka, Zambia service to its full freighter schedule. Lusaka will be the 13th full freighter destination on AFKLMP's existing schedule in Africa.

After three years, Lusaka is returning to the carrier's full freighter schedule. The flight will operate once a week using a B747F. Departure will be on Tuesdays from Amsterdam and arrival/departure in Lusaka on Wednesdays.

The first flight will depart from Amsterdam - Johannesburg - Lusaka - Harare - Nairobi - Amsterdam routing.

In 2018, AFKLMP Cargo transported 1.1 million tonnes of cargo. In addition to its global network of passenger aircraft, it offers cargo main deck capacity on 2 B777Fs, 4 B747-400Fs, and 5 B747-400 combi aircraft.

The Air France KLM group has a strong European base. Its main areas of business are passenger transport, cargo transport, and aeronautical maintenance.
